The beloved film, starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf, has become a modern-day Christmas classic and now the stage musical adaptation brings all the magic and joy to life.
Elf The Musical tells the story of Buddy, a human raised by elves at the North Pole. After learning the truth about his origins, he embarks on a hilarious journey to New York City in search of his biological father. Along the way, he brings Christmas cheer to everyone he meets, proving that the holiday spirit can melt even the coldest of hearts.
The musical features a book by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, and a score by Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin. The original Broadway production was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and has since been performed around the world.
For its Australian premiere, Elf The Musical will be directed by the acclaimed Tyran Parke and choreographed by the award-winning Amy Campbell. The cast will feature a stellar line-up of Australian musical theatre stars, including:
