Boston Celtics aim to close out series against injury-hit Cleveland Cavaliers
The Boston Celtics have a commanding 3-1 series lead against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2024 NBA playoffs. However, the Cavs have been hit by a wave of injuries ahead of Game 4, with star Donovan Mitchell ruled out with a calf injury. Other notable absences for Cleveland include Caris LeVert, Evan Mobley, and Isaac Okoro.
The Celtics, meanwhile, are relatively healthy, with only Marcus Smart listed as questionable with a foot injury. Smart is expected to play, however, giving Boston a major boost as they look to close out the series at home.
Game 4 is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, May 7. The Celtics will be looking to clinch the series and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, while the Cavaliers will be desperate to avoid elimination.
